Bechdel Blog

In the Bechdel reading I felt like it was all over, and did not make much sense. It was very hard to follow and  I am not much of a comic book reader, so I think that was the main reason why I did not know what was going on. From what I did read though with how much detail she put in was really amazing. Like when she described the moss and running through the forest, to me that made me feel like I was there with her. Also with her living by the interstate I somewhat live by one as well, so I know where she is coming from by living by one. I thought it was kind of weird that her family stay distant from each other, considering that my family is the total opposite. We do not stay distant, we always try to do stuff together. When I saw that her parents criticized her work and coloring, was kind of strange. My parents always said that I should color what I thought certain things looked like. They never really told me to fix it and color it right, because that takes the fun out of it when you are young. But besides the fact that it was all over and very hard to understand by reading it the second time I finally understood some of the reading.
