Scotts essay #4
To be honest i really did not understand this essay at all. I never have watched or read anything from Daniel Craig and honestly never want to. To me all of his movies and readings never get my attention. This was one of the hardest things for me to read. I mean of course there are lots of other readings that i do not want to read, but i suffer through it. But this reading was way to hard for me to even finish reading because it bored me wayyyy to much. I tried to finish it but like i said i got lost and confused since i never have read or watched any movies of his. Also this is not my type of reading what so ever, and he jumps from topic to topic so i guess that is where it really lost my attention and made me confused. Daniels genre and type of movies he is in just are not for me and like i said i am sorry that i can not praise this reading but it just was not for me at all. But i knew i had to write about it and honestly i do not know what to write about it, since i really didnt finish reading it.

SMASH paragraph one
There are some strong willed people throughout this show. They have their own ideas of how Bombshell should be, and who should play the part as Marilyn. Come hell or high water each person is determined to get their person up on that stage. For example Derek sees the vision of Karin as Marilyn, ans knew she was the one to pull it off. Where as Ilene believes Ivy is the one for the part of Marilyn , Derek disagrees with Ilene. There is a lot of drama throughout SMASH. Such as Ilenes assistant putting peanuts in the drink of the first Marilyn. He confesses to Ilene what he thought would impress her, but instead she fires him over it. There is also unfaithfulness between Karin, Dev, and Ivy. Dev cheats on Karin with Ivy. She finds out from Ivy, because Ivy had her ring, but tries to compare it like a Marilyn Monroe relationship. Ilene and Derek only seem to argue, and d not seem capable to have a normal conversation. A younger audience would not be able to grasp the context of this show. It might help to be a high school age or older to understand what is going on.
